The situation is somewhat different with secondary schools. We all understand that people go there to study, who, for one reason or another, cannot or do not really want to study. But a young person, in order for him to be able to realize himself in society, needs to get some kind of specialty so that in the future he can earn and provide at least for himself. Also, training in a secondary specialized educational institution involves a large number of practical exercises and tighter control over students. Therefore, distance learning here will be associated with the same difficulties as at school, with the only amendment that there are already quite adult children who are studying there, who make their own decisions, and they will also be responsible for learning failures.
So what are the benefits of distance learning?
The first and main plus is maintaining social distance and reducing the risk of the spread of infection, which is a direct threat to the life and health of people around.
The second plus is the individualization of education – children who are not interested in the learning process will not interfere with children who are interested in getting an education.
The third plus is saving time and the ability to correspond with the teacher, asking individual questions.
