If Europe is aware of being a stake, it does not yet present a united front on the question. In particular, the member countries have different positions vis-à-vis Huawei. Some, like the UK, prohibit the adoption of Chinese technology. Others, like France, adopt a middle position: they exclude it from sensitive sectors such as those linked to national defence, but offer limited access.
