Difference between AC and DC Current
Alternating Current:

- It has a frequency about 40 Hz to 60 Hz.
- No voltage drop takes place in the time of transportation.
- It is not too dangerous.
- It is cheaper than DC.
- It changes very high to low or vice versa.
- It changes its direction continuously as w and -}r.
Direct Current:
- DC is obtained by connecting the two ends of a conductor to the terminals of a batter.
- Its direction remains unchanged.
- It is obtained by a chemical reaction,
- Its transportation is very difficult.
- It has no frequency.
- Great voltage drop takes place in the time of transportation.
- It is too dangerous.
- It is expensive.
- It cannot change easily.
- It has no direction.
