The challenge of training
Many feedbacks from teachers underline that there is an awareness of the importance of training in digital tools and practices, while noting the lack of concrete action on this aspect. However, on this scale, traditional teacher training is not possible, because it would represent a huge budget: nearly €1,000 per teacher for a week of training, to be multiplied by nearly 1 million teachers, i.e. not far of €1 billion per year, according to the DNE.
