Vector Quantities in Physics
Vector
It is defined as:
Vector quantity are those physical quantity which require magnitude, express with suitable unit as well as proper direction is called vector quantity.
Characteristics of Vector Quantity
- Vector quantity can’t be added, subtracted, multiplied, divided according to the ordinary algebraic rule.
- It can be added, subtracted, multiplied, divided according to the some special rules, like head and tail rule, Graphical method etc.
- Vector always treats as positive.
Representation
It can be represented by an arrow with headline. The length of an arrow represents its magnitude and the headline represents the direction of the vector.
Example
Weight, Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration, Torque, Momentum etc.
Improves brain function While reading, the brain is stimulated. Thanks to her, thinking improves, especially those parts of it that are responsible for concentration and critical analysis. Improves sleep Through research, scientists have found that reading pleasant literature before bed can help you fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly through the night.
