An art school differs from simple drawing circles in a rather intensive and serious training. Classes are held several times a week for two hours or more. Art school students are constantly required to work on their own projects and take exams against an approved curriculum. Much is done through โI donโt want toโ and, perhaps, bypassing childrenโs creative ideas. So, if a child treats art school as an additional circle after school, it is better to immediately explain these points to him.
An unconditional plus of the “artist” is in the different ages of her pupils. Unlike a music school, where it is customary to recruit children of primary school age, the doors of an art school are also open to teenagers and even adults. This means that the child can make the final decision at an already more conscious age, when drawing really grows from interest to passion.
In general, the main reason for entering an art school is the child’s bright desire to connect his future life with creativity. Otherwise, children’s enthusiasm may not be enough for several years of study
