I cannot imagine my life without books – a world without reading and the opportunity to learn new realities, experience different emotions and meet people, travel on the pages and learn new things seems boring and dull to me. All my life I have been looking for answers in books, in return for receiving new questions. I read works of art and non-fiction, classics and novelties, I buy textbooks and dictionaries. The most striking discovery about books in my childhood was the fact that not everyone reads and many do not feel the need for it. Once, visiting friends, I asked permission to look at the home library while my parents talked. And when I found out that there were no books in the house, I was shocked. No, just shocked! How is it – there are no books at home? What do they read? What are they doing? How do they LIVE? Despite this discovery, recently I was again shocked by the accidentally dropped phrase “I don’t read books, this is not mine”. I, like no one else, know that we are all different, each has his own way of life and ideas about the world, right and wrong.
