Kinetic energy is energy acquired by an object during movement.

 

E = 1/2 mv2

 

Where:

 

E = kinetic energy [J]

m = mass [kg]

 

v = velocity of the object [m s-I]

 

Of course, you should not read a book that you are not at all interested in, but if you communicate with people on some general topic, then this strategy is very relevant.
