Her early life and career began in Rennes, where she was conceived. She began her career in the modelling industry while simultaneously pursuing a career as a plastic expressions teacher.

After receiving his diploma in 2004, Bourgoin began working as a moderator for the television show Kawa! that is broadcast on the Filles TV channel. After a period of two years, she made an appearance on Direct 8. She collaborated with TV moderator Marc Lacombe on a test case programme for Playstation TV at the same time. This television time slot was never used for programming, and the pilot was only sometimes used.

She was the climate young woman for Le Grand Journal with Michel Denisot in 2006, which is a show that airs every day on Canal+. Bourgoin decided to go under the pseudonym “Salomé” so that she would not be mistaken by large crowds for the person Le Grand Journal moderator Ariane Massenet.

In 2007, she was presented with the opportunity to perform the role of a TV weather girl in the movie The Girl from Monaco. As a result, she had roles in a few movies, such as The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, which was directed by Luc Besson, and Black Heaven, which was directed by Gilles Marchand and screened out of competition at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Both of these films featured her.

She is now partnered with the electronic performer Tepr. Her husband and son are also named Louise Bourgoin. In December of 2015, it was announced that Bourgoin and Tepr were expecting their first child together. This will be the couple’s first child. On April 7, 2016, Bourgoin became a mother to Étienne after giving birth to him.
