Short Note on Liver Fluke
It is an internal parasite. It belongs to phylum Platyhelminthes.
Habitat:
It lives in lungs, liver, stomach and intestine of other animals.
Life Cycle:
It has two hosts
- i) One stage is in man, sheep or goat etc.
- ii) Other is in the body of snail.
Structure:
- i) It has leaf like structure.
- ii) Oral sucker is present around the mouth.
iii) A sucker is also present at ventral side. It helps it to remain attach with host.
Nutrition:
It sucks food by oral sucker.
