Difference between Homologous Organs & Analogous Organs

 

Homologous organs:

 

Organs, which do not look alike but their internal structure is almost similar. E.g. fore limbs of horse, human arm, wing of bird etc

 

 

Analogous organs:

 

Organs, which are similar in function but different in basic structure e.g. wing of fly bird performs same function but their structure is different.
