What is Forward Bias and Reverse Bias in Physics

Forward Bias and Reverse Bias

Forward Biased:

If the p-type material of a semi conductor diode is at a positive potential and the n-type material is at a negative potential then the diode is forward biased. It has a very low electrical resistance.

Reverse Biased:

If the p-type material of a semi-conductor diode is at a negative potential and the n-type material is at a positive potential then the diode is reverse biased. It has a very high electrical resistance.

However, e-books also have drawbacks. Firstly, they cannot be read where there are no means of processing electronic information, simply speaking – a computer (tablet, smartphone, reader). Or where there is no access to a source of electricity for a long time. But such places on the planet are becoming less and less. Secondly, some people complain that their eyes get tired more when they read e-books.
