The Royal Conservatory is Scotland’s National Center for Professional Professional Education in the Performing Arts. Our location is the heart of Glasgow; our orientation is the contemporary international scene. We are leading the way as one of Europe’s top conservatories, offering a rare breadth of artistic disciplines. Highly Professional Education We offer outstanding specialist training at the highest professional level and undergraduate and graduate degrees in dance, drama, music, production, screen and education. Our training is rigorous and inextricably linked to the professions. We also develop talent at all stages and ages with a wide variety of dishes from weekly sessions at specialized summer schools.
We recently invested £8.5m in the development of superb new facilities at Speirs Castles Studios and in the refurbishment of our Renfrew Street Campus. We believe that our facilities are now the best in Europe. They include six professional concert centers; high rehearsal ratio per student; three recording studios; drum studios; professional technology stage; four bespoke dance studios; new studios for technical, design, performing arts, installed building and costumes and construction. All this is backed up by the latest IT and digital technologies.
Our location in the artistic heart of Scotland Scotland has a dynamic arts heritage and Glasgow is known as the cultural capital. It is the birthplace of many productivity professions – and many of them are located directly around us.
