About:
Center for Alternative Technology is a world-class learning center with over 35 years of experience in the practice of sustainable development. Based in Wales, the Institute for Sustainable Education (WISE) GSE offers its clients teaching and accommodation facilities, including: Large rammed lecture hall Seminar and workshop facilities LABORATORIES RESEARCH IT suites Offices, lounges and reception areas 24 en-suite study bedrooms Restaurant and bar
WISE is a modern eco-educational institution. The venue is sensitively built from low embodied energy materials such as hemp and lime, hard-packed earth and sustainable wood sources. The on-site supply of renewable energy, including biomass and solar energy, means that WISE is a truly sustainable place to study. WISE is the 2011 Riba Award-Winning Building of the Year 2010 by the Daily Telegraph. Meals and Accommodation Full accommodations are provided during the modules for student participation in the premises at the checkpoint, including all meals. All meals will be in the new restaurant WISE at CPT and Vegetarian.
